VP Strategy & Bus Development

Oversees the development and administration of Strategy and Business Development. Assists in development of strategy for managed care contract negotiations and other business development opportunities. Contributes to business strategy, leads project teams to achieve objectives and develops network of partnerships to advance business goals. Ensures quality improvement initiatives and the integration of the Health System's values are attained.
1. Business Strategy Development
Initiates and develops the strategic plans, policies and procedures for Business Devleopment and Managed Care Contracting.
Identifies and develops new business initiatives and opportunities consistent with the mission and strategic direction of the Health System.
Establishes and measures organizational performance against goals and objectives.
Plans and directs the utilization of information resources to support the strategic direction and operation of the Health System.
2. Financial Management
Prepares, reviews, and prioritizes financial analysis related to strategic business opportunities and managed care contracting strategy to ensure alignment with business objectives and financial parameters.
Provides financial and administrative oversight and problem resolution guidance.
3. Operational Performance
Monitors and evaluates the impact of industry trends on the area's current business performance and competitive outlook.
Analyzes competitors' services and prices, synthesizes information, and develops a cohesive, integrated business strategy and action plan.
Ensures active communication with all external and internal constituencies to establish strong relationships that are complimentary and consistent with organizational goals and strategic needs.
Conducts cost benefit feasibility studies to determine the viability of new strategic business initiatives.
4. Technology
Participates in needs assessments of equipment, systems and software to ensure optimal service outcomes.
5. Standards Compliance
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, tax laws, and regulatory agency standards of compliance.
Oversees the development, review and distribution of reports and procedural statements which ensure regulatory and policy compliance.
Keeps abreast of federal regulations, congressional actions and deliberations and state and local activities.
6. HR Development
Develops and oversees implementation of current and long-term Human Resources goals and objectives for organizational development, recruiting, compensation, training and development and employee relations.
Oversees protocols to promote employee engagement, excellence and opportunity.
Works to create a culture of integrity, quality and engagement to meet Health System mission and goals.
7. Business Development
Develops relationships with outside consultants and industry associations to ensure quality improvement process retains validity and maintains the latest techniques and concepts. Keeps executive leadership and stakeholders well informed.
8. Research
Oversees the assessment of services and development of new programs and research projects to ensure future organizational growth and prosperity.
Performs competitive analysis on an ongoing basis and develops strategies for program adaptation to market changes.
9. Performs related duties, as required.
ADA Essential Functions
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field, required. Master's Degree, preferred.
Minimum of twelve (12) years progressively responsible management experience in related field, required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
