Quality Management Nurse Manager (RN), Full-Time, Permanent, Brooklyn, NY
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Quality Management Nurse Manager to work for one of our clients, a multi-service home care organization, located in Brooklyn, NY.
This is a permanent, full-time job.
In this role you will be responsible for maintaining the quality and adequacy of nursing practice and for recognizing and assisting in solving professional, administrative, and supervisory problems.
An ideal candidate would be a graduate of accredited school of nursing, and currently registered in New York State as a Registered Professional Nurse, as well as having a minimum of two (2) years' experience in home care or equivalent and working knowledge of State and Federal regulations as it pertains to a Licensed Home Care Service Agency.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Oversees the assignments and performance of all staff:
Clinical Phone Call Triage, Telehealth RN, Emergency Visits.
Provides ongoing support to field staff regarding problem solving, implementation and adherence to the plan of care, management of complex-care patients and software inquiries Investigates incident reports for root cause analysis and recommend need for staff education to avoid further occurrence Participates in Performance Improvement activities as assigned Prepares/ monitors and submits reports as requested by the Director of Quality Interviews, hires, and orientates and trains new staff Performs annual performance evaluations on all staff, disciplines all staff and recommends all changes of status including termination and promotion.
