RN Instructor for Home Care agency, Non Northwell Site
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Instructor to join our clients team, a multi-service home care organization, located in Brooklyn, NY.
This is a permanent, full-time job.
Candidates would be working fully onsite in the central training location based in Brooklyn.
To qualify for this role, candidates should have a minimum of two (2) years of experience within Licensed Homecare service agency.
The ideal candidate would be a graduate of accredited school of nursing, and currently registered in New York State as a Registered Professional Nurse.
As an RN Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care by training and mentoring our clients dedicated team of homecare nurses.
Your expertise and guidance will contribute to the professional growth of the staff and the overall excellence of service.
Additional duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Conduct comprehensive training sessions on clinical skills, best practices, and agency policies for homecare nurses.
Develop and update training materials to align with industry guidelines and advancements in patient care.
Provide individualized coaching and support, implementing performance development plans for nurses.
Foster a positive learning environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing among team members.
Assess nurse competency through practical evaluations and implement ongoing education programs to enhance their skills.
